A Moment of Silence Please...
Today it happened again. Another favorite blog went "password protected" with only family and close friends admitted. Please join me in a moment of silence for Donna's public blog Double Happiness. I knew Donna from our DTC group. I watched her meet both of her girls through her blog. We will miss your wit and wisdom, Donna. We will miss your amazing photos of your beautiful children. We will miss your FFFF (Friday Photo Challenge). We will miss you! Damn, I'm depressed enough to were a black arm band!

Can You Say "Paris"?
...I knew you could! But who needs words when you have friends with passports and a camera! The Traveling Trio spent a couple of days in Paris recently. Here they are playing in traffic at the Arc de Triomphe. Kieren said they were very careful and didn't leave the sidewalk. They had so much fun waving to the drivers and blowing kisses!
Wow! Notre Dame! Linlee said she and Rachel enjoyed screeching and hearing their echo! Kieren laughed so hard she needed a diaper change!! They were sad they couldn't stay longer, but the tourists didn't seem to share their joy in verbal resonance.
Oh well! Moving on to bigger and better things. Kieren LOVED the Louvre!!!! She was fascinated with the art, but really loved the building! The girls tried to bring home a special painting for each of their Mommies, but the guard had other ideas. Good thing the girls are so cute!
What's a girl to do while in Paris???? Well, shop of course! Rachel said these little shops in Sacre Coeur had the best gifts!!!! Unfortunately, Linlee's credit card wasn't working so the Mommies didn't get anything. Good thing the girls had cash for their food! Not to fear, the card seems fine now!
And what trip to Paris would be complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower at sunset?! The girls said they went to a really neat cafe for coffee and pastries that evening, but the memory card on the camera was full. Of course Linlee and Kieren had too much coffee before their flight, but this time Rachel also had too much! From what I can understand, it was a wild and crazy flight home!!!! I know Kieren is still tired, but she has a huge grin on her face whenever she thinks I'm not looking! I wonder where the girls will go next?!

Why-Is-It Wednesday...
Back by popular demand (I got the hint, Becky!), it's "Why is it..." Wednesday again. So here we go:(from my Mom) Why is it when I smell a nasty odor, my husband blames the cats? Funny how the smell follows him through the house.
(also from my Mom) Why is when my husband is home alone and there is mud tracked through the house, he blames the indoor cats?
Why is it a huge pop-up thunderstorm hits AFTER the kids get in the pool? Why can't it hit BEFORE so I don't have to drag them out (kicking and screaming) and change their clothes after 5 minutes of pool-time??
Why is it people love to piss me off some days?????
And why is it some people love to "rub salt" into an open wound?
Now it's your turn. Let's hear it! I'm going back to hide under my desk.

HaHaHa!!!! I just went to my blog/DTC buddy Karen's site (sorry it is private and password protected). She just found out her site is rated "R"!!!! So I thought what the heck and checked mine. Cullen & Kieren
It's SUMMER!!!!! With Cull home, Kieren has her favorite "toy" available 24/7!!!! Boy is she happy!

Swim lessons. Not sure why Kieren looks so shocked! Maybe she just noticed we're strange or something.
More swim lessons. Looks like these two are plotting something big!
Cullen made cookies last week by himself! Butter cookies with strawberry jam and a peanut-butter glaze. Kieren just enjoyed making a mess! Oh, yeah. They are definitely mine!!!!

My Mom took in a couple of stray cats last year. Well, one of them had 4 kittens 2.5 weeks ago. Ian likes my cats so we wanted to see what he thought about the kittens.
