Graceful As A Butterfly

Butterfly Ballet

Kieren's ballet class was allowed to wear anything they wanted tonight. They had to pay $1 to participate (money went to Breast Cancer Research). Kieren's Halloween costume is a black kitty, but the tail is very long and dangerous to dance with so we bought a pair of butterfly wings for ballet class.

The girls were so excited and dressed so cute!

Kieren's teacher (Miss Lilly) was also dressed as a butterfly. They were all so adorable!!!

Fall Harvest Festival

Sunday was the Fall Harvest Festival for our church. Our church has two branches. We attend the one at a local YMCA. So of course the festival was held at their campus!

Our friends Katie, Sarah and Jake were able to meet us this year. It was so much fun! The kids all wore costumes. There was a hayride, carnival games, costume contests, pumpkin painting, food, face painting, tattoos, and coloring contests. The kids had a blast!!!

Sorry for the short post, but I'm not feeling too great. My ankle is badly swollen and hurts like you wouldn't believe, and I have Kieren's cold. I will try to post more later, but right now I need to ice my ankle again and go to bed (5:45am comes way too early!).
