Kieren's Costume - A Preview

Kieren will be a vampire this year.  Tonight, before her shower, we experimented with her make-up.
Not too bad, if I do say so!  We still have to make her cape, get her special tights, and she also has cool shredded gloves to wear.  So what do you think?

Our Newest Family Member - Jack!

Meet Jack.  Nicknames: Jack Splat (when he miscalculates a jump or landing); Jack Black (DUH!  Because he is black!); Jack O. Lantern (because it's October and his eye are orange); Jack-Jack Attack (just watch the short "Jack Jack Attack" on "The Incredibles" DVD); Captain Jack (because he's such a little pirate!)
Yes, Jack's eyes are really that color!!!  They are kind of creepy.


Jack decided to adopt us about a week ago.  He just showed up in our front yard one morning.  He loved on the kids as Andy was getting everyone in the car for school.  Then he hopped in the car too!  Of course he was booted from the car.  Later that day, I looked in the mirror of my car to see Jack sitting next to my dad's feet (who was sitting on his bike).  When I opened my door to tell my dad about the kitty, he jumped into my car and sat between my feet purring.  Of course I booted him from the car too.  When the kids and I got home from school we didn't see Jack anywhere, but when we called for him we heard a meow from the back yard.  He came flying around the house and moved in with us that afternoon!

My Son - The Goalkeeper

Cullen is a soccer goalie.  He loves it!  He is not scared to get in the thick of it or to throw an elbow or two.


He also makes time for his fans.

His team calls him "The General" because he is always telling them where they need to be on the field.  Cullen is really good at watching the other teams and being able to pass his observations on to the rest of his team.


This kid really loves being a goalie!!!


He is also skilled at carrying injured players off the field.
